Don't know what to do with those piles of old books? Need a place to set that martini and plate of canapes as you wile away your evenings? Well, here is an idea that will solve both problems. From the folks at Design*Sponge, the book strap side table!

Now isn't that clever? I must humble myself and admit that no, this would not work with my Kindle!
ReplyDeleteI guess if you had enough Kindles...and some electrical tape....
ReplyDeleteOkay...that's hilarious.
ReplyDeletebut I could set my kindle on top of it to be lovingly displayed :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute idea though.
So cute! I wonder if I tried it at home I would end up with a mess of books toppled over and covered in coffee.
ReplyDeleteI like the retro look of the whole assembly. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting look, not my favorite thing to do with my books but...I wonder if the books are glued together first. It makes me think of the Tetra game - how many books can you pull out before the entire table falls over :p !!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if my dog would still eat the books if they were bundled up together like that. As is, we have to keep them out of his reach.
ReplyDeleteAh, but then how would you read these books? At least eBooks never become a waste of space and need to be blasphemously used like this.
ReplyDeleteI really like that! It is so unique looking! And you really don't miss an opportunity to bash e-books do you!? ; )
ReplyDeletehey, I admited you could do the same thing with several thosand $$ of e-books. A wonderful use I think! ;-)
