    Beautiful! I think I get mixed up as to where certain countries are located. I always think of Croatia as further north.

    Beautiful photos. My grandmother emigrated from Split to Australia with her family when she was very young and I have never seen it. I must go and admire it one day.

    That's so weird, because whenever I ask travel agents about Split (my husband's family comes from there), they say, "oh it's a dump" or "oh, there's nothing there." It sure doesn't seem that way from your pictures!

    Lovely landscape. I always do a double take when I see the palm trees and then realize they are in Europe.
