ReplyDeleteHave a fantabulosa week ;-)
I loved Venice also. Sadly we didn't go to the islands, but we did get some Murano glass in Venice.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice little daytrip..
DeleteIf I can't visit these places, this is the next best thing. I need some glass and lace though.
ReplyDeleteI will be happy to go along!

Love the glass and especially the pic of the chapel! :) Danica
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Dale Chihuly got inspired by the curly Murano glass. Beautiful shots. I really like the red building reflection in the water. Thanks for the tour! :-)
ReplyDeleteWOW. Gorgeous shots!!!
ReplyDeleteloved Murano and its amazing glass factories ...
ReplyDeleteActually we only got to one store there..lol
DeleteSo cool! Love traveling with you through your photos. I remember seeing glass-blowing in Italy, too, though I believe I was in Venice. Would have loved to bring a few pieces home with me, but finances and fear of how many pieces they'd arrive home in kept me on my best behavior!
ReplyDeleteThey are happy to ship them! Lol
Deletegorgeous photos!! everyone.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful buildings and glass objects.
ReplyDeleteLook how close the water comes to those buildings!
The sky and the water are so blue! Love!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. I especially like the one of the colourful houses, and the one below that, of the reflection in the canal.
ReplyDeletePerhaps my favorite as well...
DeleteGreat pictures. I really like the color of the water.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots... (Wish I was there) :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! One day we'll make it there!
ReplyDeleteYou forgot. We didn't have to take the water bus from Murano to Burano. The glass shop had it own water limo take us to Burano in gratitude for the amount of our purchases. Apparently we made their day!
ReplyDeletewell, I didn't want to show ALL the things you bought there!
DeleteStunning. I can't tell which one I like best. Love the lace shots. I don't make Italian lace, but I think it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGlass making is fascinating and I think I can watch for hours. Gosh, the scenery is just wonderful.
