Wordless Wednesday...the Amafi Coast

Let's take a day trip, out of Rome. We will go  down past Napoli and Vesuvius, to the beautiful Amafi coast, to Sorrento and Positano.

the view from the restaurant where we had a delicious lunch

Anyone for a nice cold Limonicello?

A brief stop for a gelato and a coffee..

  6. Absolutely gorgeous setting, Wow huge lemons or tiny bottles, I've seen extremely large lemons, but advised they may have crossed with a grapefruit.

  8. I think Sorrento is one of the most under-rated cities in Italy...it's certainly one of my favorites. And the limocello..........molto bene. Thanks for more gorgeous pictures, and I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip.

  19. Love, love, love the archway shot! The lemon/limoncello shot reminded me of David Rocco's Italy (cooking channel) He did a segment on the lemons from the Amalfi coast.
