I love the photos of the old trains!
The couple of the tubes look like they found a great place to cool off on a hot day. Love the train shots. Great series of photos.
These old trains tell stories. Great shots.
I would have been fascinated by those trains as a child. I find that church to be a very interesting and intriguing shape, guessing there may have been a porch under that overhang?
love the train shots....
Beautiful! I especially love the trains. Happy WW!
Love the vintage trains. So, that's where old trains go when they retire. The church looks interesting too. I have not seen a church like that before.
Hi Caite,Some really interesting shots, they tell a great story of a bygone age, don't they?We do a lot of 'treasure trails' around the area where we live and churches and graveyards feature heavily in them, as they are such great places for clues. Some of the inscriptions are so revealing about families and a way of life long gone. Thanks for an interesting post,Yvonne
So true. I spent a lot of time in that graveyard and another tiny one across the road. Families, children who died so young sometimes..all so very interesting.
I guess I can admit I actually enjoy reading the inscriptions on old gravestones since others seem to do it too!
Awesome trains!!! Interesting graveyard shots. Happy WW!Jeanne
I love trains! and I find graveyards fascinating. Great series.

wonderfully wordless ...
Nice. I particularly like the old trains.
The first one is very inviting as hot as it's been. The pictures of the trains make me miss my uncle. He's an engineer in Germany and as long as I can remember he's been sitting in a locomotive.
I love the shots of the old trains, gorgeous!
I love it! It looks like a gorgeous place with lots of history. I would love to visit an old train like that. Gorgeous shots!
Hopping over from Tina's Wordless WednesdayLove the trains...wonderful shots!
I love trains! And old cemeteries. My cousins and I use to go and look at the older tombstones and make up stories about people lives.
happy to know I am not alone in that...lol
Wow! Amazing shots here! Trains...
Great pictures, all of them. I'm partial to the old trains and gravestones, I actually tried to zoom in to read a name or two. :) The trains remind me of childhood when I used to go visit relatives in the country and I spent about 11 hours (that's how long the trip was) gazing out the window and daydreaming. Ah, memories....
Looks like you visited a photographer's paradise with rusty trains and old headstones.
those photos are awesome. love how you framed them too. Have a great weekend.
