Great pictures! I need to take my camera to the zoo to see what I can come up with.
Did you use your zoooooo-m lens? (Sorry, it had to be done.)Sweet shots- you caught the summertime in full swing and the animals at their best.
I just love zoos! Capybaras are one of my favorite animals...reminds me of our little guinea pig at home!
that capybara was BIG...like a couple of feet big. But I love his nose.
We love that zoo!!!! It is very well done ... and the lion is always roaring when we go!
Great pictures! I love visiting the zoos!
Love the trip to the zoo. great photos/
Awesome collection of zoo animals, Yeah the one looks like half turkey half stork???
I have no idea what that white bird is. I could not find a sign or anyone to ask. Any ideas anyone??>\
Nice outdoor trip in the zoo, I love the peacock, specially when the wings open. Have a nice day!
what a great day that must have been. Lovely shots!
These are wonderful. I love the capybara. He is a doll. thanks for theese.
Zebra butts! My friend was in Rwanda last summer and that's all he could get...in the time it took to take out a camera they always turned around on him!
I love these shots. Our national zoo is depressing so I'm not going.
I too love the capybara. I can't remember what zoo I first saw one in, but it was definitely love at first sight! I didn't get as close as you however!
This makes me want to get to the zoo. Love all the animal pics Happy WW
Great critter shots!Enjoyed seeing them.
Now I want to go to the zoo! Might have to wait until the rain and wind passes and the sun comes out again!Happy WW!
the car is clever advertising and your pictures are fun :)
those are such incredible shots. the shot of peacock is my favourite.
I absolutely LOVE your pictures!! I'm going to have to show my kids!! They are going to love the zebras, barnyard play and the family portrait! Priceless!!
Nice zoo shots.
fun shots ...
Great pictures of the animals...they have so much character!
Loved the "barnyard play" pic. That zoo needs penguins and then it would be complete. Of course, you knew I was going to say that!
LOL @ that last image...I'd be running from that if it were chasing me! Awesome images....love Zoos!!
We brought our little ones to the zoo last year...I think we will go again next year..it is about an 8 hour drive for us..
I must say, I am a sucker for baby animals and there were a few I could not get pics of. Two very new baby snow leopards...a baby monkey and his mom..
So many of those pictures would make fantastic greeting cards! Love, love, love the Barnyard Play photo!
when my children were little we would always stop at the Cape May Zoo on our way home from the shore. Great zoo!! thanks for sharing
We need to hit up the zoo soon! These are great pictures. I want no part of that huge rodent. Hope they are nowhere near here!!
Happy WW and thanks for stopping by!! I have never seen a rodent that large!! Peacocks are kind of cool to watch!
Great photos. I've never even heard of the capybara before, but then I'm not into rodents . . . but he looks interesting.I love all the photos! Thanks!
Great pictures from the zoo. The last one is a scary looking critter.
Thanks for the trip round the zoo, it looks great. Thanks also for visiting my blog
The white bird is an Ibis - we were amused to see them in a zoo in Canada, as they are everywhere here. THey fill the park near our house, and they also love to hang out at the dump. I think they are possibly the rat of the bird world!
thank you Ali!yes...there were orange birds with these scary, rather ugly white ones and I see now that there were ibis (plural is ibides or ibes) too. Ali came to the rescue!
Looks like a successful outing. Love zoo pics. Thanks for linkin up for WW!
What an intense blue on that peacock, and capybaras always remind me of the Rodents of Unusual Size from the Princess Bride ;).-----------------------------------My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography and bring home something beautiful today!
Wow that's a rodent?! Gorgeous photos these are! I want to visit the zoo again soon with the kids.
please speak up, I LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!
