  1. Awesome pictures. I've always wanted to see a bear in the wild (at a safe distance, of course). You got a great picture. It pays to have your camera handy, huh?

  2. Absolutely beautiful pictures! I haven't been to Alaska yet but I hope to visit soon! Wow, that bear was close by! He looks so unassuming and ho-hum, he's got things on his mind and errands to run! lol but he's a big boy so it's probably a good idea not to get in his way!

  8. i don't think that bear was smiling, although i can see that...we were on the bus, the only way you can go into Denali, and she came right out of the woods next to the bus and walked down the middle of the dirt road for about 10 minutes.
    I was lucky enough to see several bears on that trip...

  10. OMG! Both photos are great but the mountains . . . Wow. Alaska is one of the two states (the other is Louisianna) that I've never been in. Must get there.
