Wordless Wednesday- Japanese Maple
I had to take these pictures in the rain, since the peak of the tree's autumn color came the same day as a Nor'easter that will soon blow every one of those leaves off. And I assure you that color is untouched...except by God.

ReplyDeleteand you know that tree...it is in my front yard. most of the year the leaves are sort of a plum color...but for a week or two in the fall it is RED!

ReplyDeleteI thought that nor'easter we had, with terrible rain and winds up to 70 mph would have knocked those leaves all off but actually the tree is just starting to lose them now. it is pretty, isn't it?
