Wwo very cool thanks for sharing I had never seen or heard of this before. Your comment reminds me of Grand Sherman a Giant Sequoia which had a limb thicker than a man is tall fall while visitors watched just a few years ago. Luckily no one got hurt.
natures beauty is timeless, isn't it? thanks so much for sharing! I hope one day to see it myself. I have seen WI Dells many times(a WI resident) and the rock formations are so inspiring and wondrous to see what water can do to so solid a rock!~Faythe @GMT
WOW . Thanks for the memory rush. Seems like we were on the Blue Ridge Parkway several times a year when I was a kid. Of course then I didn't fully appreciate the beauty in nature.
I too would question why I wasn't given a helmet hehee... I also love seeing historical nature sites and then thinking about all the past people that have also seen it.
There is nothing more beautiful than the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall. And that bridge is really cool...it looks like it might crumble and fall at any minute!
We went to Busch Gardens last year in Virginia I wish I would've known about that it's beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'm your latest follower. Nice to meet you.
The last photo is breath-taking. I could stare at that view forever! The stone formation and that bridge are awesome. Thank you for posting these pictures. You have some of the most spectacular photographs.
It looks like a stunning place to visit!! Have you ever been to the natural bridge in Kentucky? My family went there two years ago on our annual summer trip. We all hiked up to the bridge, from my 3-year old sister and up. Breathtaking view!
Oh, I would give anything to be sitting on top of that hill/mountain with a blanket, my Kindle, an array of cheeses and crackers, and a bottle of wine.
I've been there - it's not too far from my in-laws.
ReplyDeletesuch an impressive bridge and the views are breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That rock formation is way cool. I'd love to go there. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIn was surprised they didn't make you were a helmet or sign a waiver when you walk under it..what if a piece fell off and hit me? ;-)
