  1. We have a lot of turtles in our neighborhood but they generally stay out of the street. I still want a Turtle X-ing sign though!

    1. in the refuge, they cross the dirt dike all the time from water to marsh and back..of course, the speed limit is 15 mph, so they are easy to avoid.

  6. I had turtles up last week--I saw them laying eggs in central park. such amazing creatures! And those birds are so majestic!

  19. I have never seen a turtle crossing sign before! Here in Illinois we just have signs for deer. Children. And the elderly. Isn't that weird? Loving, but weird that we need to be reminded to watch for anything other than ourselves in our own hurry.
