I thought we'd caught all the great museums in DC, but we missed this one. Now that our daughter has graduated from the University of Maryland, we no longer have an excuse to go there.
I'd sure like to visit this museum. There is a statue of Sarah Winnemucca, a great Native American from Nevada, in the National Statuary Hall Collection.
Quite interesting indeed! The outside seems familiar perhaps from my teen years and a desert visit, only I don't think I can put it together with DC as I was only five and don't recall the museum.
I enjoyed them, interesting :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a fantabulicious week :-)
