Such a lovely scene would be so hard to tear yourself a way, I guess it's a good thing the sun goes down once a day otherwise you'd never want to leave the sea shore.
That first one, since a few commented on it, is some sort or reedy plant in a marshy area. you can see another one in the background on the left. it was probably 6 feet tall or so, but that is as big as it is getting.
Beautiful pictures! I love the one with the sea shells. Interestingly, I know exactly where the last one was taken! And I think the second to last one, too. I was at that beach a few times last summer to practice open water swimming for the triathlon I did that was held on the bay side there last September. How fun to recognize the location! :)
Those top two would make great book covers.
