I think I love black and white photos even more than color photos. My grandmother, who grew up in an age when they didn't have color photos, says, "Why would you want black and white photos?!" Which always makes us laugh! But . . . she has a point!
I actually prefer some picture to be in black and white, or indeed sepia.
Family snapshots are on the whole a little nicer done in colour, however scenes like your beach and riverside shots look good in B&W, as they leave so much to the viewers imagination, such as what the weather is really like and exactly what time of day it is.
Gorgeous!!! I think the Lincoln Memorial is my favorite, but they're all spectacular.
