  3. Lovely series of photos... Migratory birds are not really that common over here in Sydney, we get them, just not in the numbers or types...

    1. we along the coast here in NJ are right in the flightpath of a huge migration, south in the fall, north in the spring.

  8. Nice! Wildlife shots are my favorites.

    I've been seeing migrant birds passing through Chicago the last few weeks. Night Hawks have been on the move at dusk but the light is too low to get good photos. And lots of warblers here too.

    1. well...I went out to test my new Olympus OMD EM5...and forgot to charge the battery. so it ran out part way through. so then I used my little Canon SX260...

  24. I love that bike rack! My husband is a birdwatcher and first told me about migrations and going to the good spots to see traveling birds.
