  15. Hi Caite,

Some great shots, in a lovely setting.

Our nearest maritime museum is in Portsmouth, where HMS Victory, Nelson's ship is situated. It is always a lovely day out, although probably not as tranquil as your own, as Portsmouth is still very much a large working dockyard, with all its inherent hustle and bustle.

    1. actually, right next to this museum is the very active shipyard at Bath. Big military ships and such..very cool.

  19. Nice. I really like the last one, but I'm a sucker for lighthouses. Is this near Bath? There is a maritime museum there I've keep meaning to get to but time always slips away when I'm in Maine.

  22. Very cool! I love lighthouses -- I can't stop myself from taking photos of them. And museums are really fun to walk through, too, especially when visiting from out of town! Gives you a real taste of the area's "flavor." :)

  28. Nice tour and great shots. On my one visit to a Maritime Museum (in Wisconsin, being in the Midwest, the Great Lakes will have to do!) we got to walk around on a docked submarine. Awesome!
