Wordless Wednesday...A Quiet Day in Katakolon

A peaceful afternoon in Katakolon, the fishing village port to ancient Olympia.

A lovely lunch dockside, with our ship in the background.

  4. Charm is OOZING out of every crevice of this place. And I have this overwhelming need to take a nap on one of those little boats. That is the kind of day I've had!

  16. I want to be there and be doing all those things in the photo. Taking a ride on horse buggy or boat, or just watching the view with cool drink.

  31. Hi Caite,

What a lovely way to while away a few hours.

I love eating outdoors, but we get so little opportunity to do so in the UK, it's seldom that warm.

The first and last shots in particular are real classics and I could just see both of them made into great jigsaw puzzles.

    Thanls for sharing

    Yvonne
