"There is no frigate like a book, To take us lands away." Emily Dickinson
They're all lovely, but the bottom picture is calling my name.
I've been starring at the last picture for several minutes. It's stunning but at the same time so peaceful.
Nantucket will always be my favorite place, although it's changed a lot. I spent a lot of time there when I was growing up and these pictures are wonderful reminders of what a beautiful place it is.Thank you!
Nantucket is one of my favorite places to visit; great photo.
Wow red sand and flying mermaids too cool.
the last one is stunningly beautiful.
I always feel like I am on vacation when I look at your pics!
I have to agree with others - they're all great photos, but that last picture with the red light on the beach is specular!
Fantastic!!
Love, love, love the red on the sand.
Great lighthouse/beach shots.
you may have noticed that my favorite...and usually best...photo is usually last. ;-)
fantastic pictures catie!
I would love to visit Nantucket one day. And that lost shot is my favorite, it is gorgeous!
I love anything pictures having to do with the shore life. The beach one...oh how I'd love to be there! ;)
Wow, I feel like I should vacation there now!
Makes me want to be there, too! That last picture is breathtaking, Caite!
Me, too. I love Nantucket. One of my dreams is to rent one of the Gingerbread Houses and stay there for at least a month. Great pictures ... happy WW!
Wishing I was there too... Lovely
It looks lovely - such beautiful colours.
Nice photos! I've never been specifically to Nantucket, but did go up the Maine coast years ago -- your photos make me want to go back! :)
I want to take a walk along that shoreline!
Thanks for the quick virtual vacation! The first one reminds me of photos in decorating magazines.
Beautiful. I like the one with the mermaid...thing a mi-gig that I can't think of the name of..doh!
These are all lovely, but I am particular to the first one. There is so much going on, but it all works. The composition is perfect.
I've never been there, but it looks so beautiful!
Lovely! So peaceful. Happy WW!
That's an "if only" I can relate to!
I've never been to Nantucket but these photos are beautiful. The last picture reminds me of the "Footprints" poem.
Beautiful pictures! I like most the last picture (bottom part), it is fascinating and calming.
If I were a beach person, that looks like the kind of place I'd like. Most of the sand I get is out in the desert.
Gorgeous shots! You are the master at getting the light just right!
Gorgeous! I wish I was on that beach now.
Beautiful photos - what wonderful memories they must hold for you!
please speak up, I LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!
