That first one especially, reminds me of winter. We have had 3 straight weeks of warm, sunny, weather here in the Northwest. We really need some of your winter!
the 1st one reminds me of my childhood at my grandmoms. I keep telling you, we can swap houses & you can take all the winter months... we have below zero temps & that is w/o the wind for the next few days... brrrrr!
The second photo looks as though the snow is beginning to melt at last. Can't say I'm sorry we have been having glorious sunny weather there the past few weeks when I see the blizzards elsewhere. I happy to hear that you remember your snow fondly :)
Snow is always beautiful on the other side of the lens. Up close and personal with it, not my thing!! Lovely shadows on the snow. I'm biding my time till spring!
Gorgeous shots, although we still DO have snow on the ground and I for sure won't miss it when it leaves. ;) but I would much rather look at your lovely pictures OF snow than dig my car out of the mountain on top of it this morning.
Love these photos very scenic
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
great shots. love the snowy landscape.
ReplyDeletebut it was not wordless...
ReplyDeleteI'll bet just about everyone that lives in snow country is ready for spring. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific WW. :)

ReplyDeleteHowever, so glad I'm not there ;)
You can keep that snow, as far as I'm concerned!
ReplyDeleteFondly? Really? I'll just stay down here in Florida, thanks!
ReplyDeleteCool POV!
ReplyDeleteNice to know you enjoy snow.
I love the snow! I would happily live in a place where it was always winter...ok, maybe 1 month of spring and one of fall...then 10 of winter.
ReplyDeleteNo, dear Niece, it is not totally wordless. Go with the flow... ;-)
Nice footprints, what are they from!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!

Beautiful shots! We've had plenty, more than usual, but I still love it.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots!
ReplyDeleteWhy does your snow look so much prettier than mine? Perhaps it's because you have a lot less. :)
ReplyDeleteYou always take such lovely arty shots.

These are beautiful. The top one has that great "moody" thing going. Terrific!
ReplyDeleteI'm not really missing it all that much ... but the first shot is really lovely.
ReplyDeleteNice shots... I'm awaiting our second big winter storm here in Dallas in the past week.... go figure! Happy WW!

Very pretty - I like the snow in the pictures. But I'm sure you're all ready for spring to arrive (I'm glad we mostly avoided winter here.)
ReplyDeletePretty but brrrrrr! Snow does make for beautiful, serene shots.
ReplyDeleteI like the snow even though here in the UK we can't cope with it when it comes!
ReplyDeleteGee, we've traded places. It's been down right balmy out here in Nevada, at least for the middle of winter. No snow on the ground in Reno right now.

ReplyDeleteLovely photos; it will not be gone from here until May or June...LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I think winter is the theme!
ReplyDeletestunning snow pictures! I could learn a lot about how to improve my photography by analyzing yours!
ReplyDeleteoddly, I don't analyze mine at all...just think "that looks nice." ;-)
ReplyDeletebeautiful winter scenes.
ReplyDeleteLooks so crispy and fresh and I love the way the trees look with frosted branches!
ReplyDeleteLovely composition in the first shot. Second shot shows the reality of snow. It melts!
ReplyDeleteI wish the snow would leave my ground! Great pictures!!
ReplyDeleteWe only get ice.
ReplyDeleteThis a lovely photo! Both of them!
Aloha!
It looks lovely, but you can keep it!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW
That picture looks like my neighborhood right now, we have had a lot of snow!
ReplyDeleteI wish our snow were gone, we're buried in it right now.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous shot.

ReplyDeleteThat top photo is remarkable. A real keeper. Makes you wonder who went where and all sorts of questions. Very well seen.
