My parental house doesn't have a lot of books lying around (and most of them are mine)... I started reading because I liked to escape into a more exciting place. So in my case, definitely nature.Chinoiserieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16676489630557961558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8684061712648858453.post-43364801494487951092011-04-25T15:06:39.805-04:002011-04-25T15:06:39.805-04:00I come from a family of readers. I think my sister and I developed a love for reading because we weren't allowed to watch much TV, we were put to work if we couldn't entertain ourselves and there were always plenty of books available for us to read.bermudaonionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10726401178972099557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8684061712648858453.post-34305702826862957172011-04-25T11:55:54.876-04:002011-04-25T11:55:54.876-04:00I loved doing the summer reading program at the li...I loved doing the summer reading program at the library - my one brother and I would always have a contest to see who could read the most books!

My answer can be found here.Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18361326880689146372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8684061712648858453.post-1371823644037951302011-04-25T09:29:54.058-04:002011-04-25T09:29:54.058-04:00Oh, I do remember those summer reading lists and w...Oh, I do remember those summer reading lists and was the kid who looked foward to them and would be at the library the first day of summer vacation to get my books.CMashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02127437807115591580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8684061712648858453.post-76441479386286860122011-04-25T09:21:23.457-04:002011-04-25T09:21:23.457-04:00My mother taught me to read when I was 4. So, I'm the only reader in the family. I tried to encourage it in my daughter and she does read some, but she's not passionate about it like I am. That's why I've loved talking with people on the internet - discovering individuals who are as crazy as I am about books. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8684061712648858453.post-89613623395795604022011-04-25T06:29:31.990-04:002011-04-25T06:29:31.990-04:00I was influenced by school, that is where I learne...I was influenced by school, that is where I learned to read and loved reading every since.
